Foam rollers are a fantastic tool to release muscular tension around the spine and ribcage. This is why foam rollers are so effective, and can fix annoying back cracking. For those who don’t know, a foam roller is a hard cylinder shaped piece of foam that is designed to roll underneath your back. You lay on the foam roller and gently roll up/down your spine.
